Future from tradition

Since its establishment in 1863 the Durrans Group, whilst remaining a family owned group of companies, has continuously supplied the worlds manufacturing industries with carbonaceous materials. From refractory coatings, milled coal dust and anthracite, metallurgical and petroleum cokes, friction and lubricants products through to natural and specialist synthetic graphitic products, the Durrans Group remains at the forefront of carbon technology.

A program of expansion, acquisition and strategic partnerships continues to enhance the groups’ capabilities. Today our 9 manufacturing sites are spread across the world, offering local and international manufacturing companies our unique knowledge of carbon based technology, combined with an unmatched history of customer satisfaction.

The Durrans Group, continues today with the same customer focused philosophy laid down 150 years ago by its founder. We have the technology, capability and capacity to service your specialist needs.

GIFA 2015 - The James Durrans Group says THANKS

A big thank you to all our visitors during GIFA 2015 who took the time to visit our stand. We
hope the exhibition was as interesting and informative as it was for us and hope you were
able to take away with you new and different concepts for your business. For Durrans the
exhibition was a great success with even more visitors to our stand compared to the previous
GIFA 2011.
We are sure that the initial personal contact will provide a sound basis for a prosperous working
relationship together. On behalf of the whole Durrans Team we would like to thank you or
your visit and valued trust in our company and we will endeavor to follow up and respond to
your many inquiries as soon as possible.

We look forward to welcoming you again soon to future forums and exhibitions - notably at the 1st
International German Moulding Materials Forum to be held at the Duisburg University in February
2016 or in May 2016 at the Metals & Foundry Exhibition in Beijing, China.

Many thanks!
